Opening of the Boxing Club
Sammy trades stocks during the day. But every evening, he's on the floor coaching. Mokhtar is right beside him - training fighters, running operations, and competing himself. This isn't a side project. It's a calling.
For nearly three years, the gym has operated at a loss. We've poured our own money into keeping it alive. Not because it makes business sense - because we can't imagine not doing this. Passion doesn't check profit margins.
2024-2025
From Small Gym to Real Home
A year after opening, we broke down the wall. Literally. We rented the space next door and expanded into a full gym. In early 2025, we installed a proper boxing ring.
On April 12th, 2025, we hosted our first amateur event. We've built a competition team that shows up and performs.
But we're not just for competitors. TopTier is a community gym - women and men, beginners and serious fighters, all training side by side. What connects everyone? Traditional values: respect, honor, discipline, hard work.
2026
Why We Made Our Own Gear
When you train every day, you learn fast what works and what doesn't.
We started developing our own gloves, headgear, body protectors, and hand wraps because we needed equipment we could trust - for ourselves and our fighters. We tested them in our gym. We improved them batch by batch. We put them through real training, real sparring, real competition.
People started asking where they could buy them.
So in 2026, we officially launched TopTier Box.
What Makes Us Different
We're not here to innovate for the sake of innovation. We're not chasing trends. We make traditional boxing gear the way it should be made - with the best materials, no cut corners, no cost-cutting to pad margins.
Most e-commerce brands optimize for profit. We optimize for our fighters.
Every product we sell gets tested in our gym daily. If it's not good enough for our competition team, it's not good enough for you.
The future
This Is Just the Beginning
From a small room on the South Shore of Montreal to hosting amateur tournaments to our own gear line - we've come a long way. But we're just getting started.
We're doing this because boxing changed our lives, and we want to share that with everyone who steps through our doors - or orders from our store.
